i am a big fan of the bravo two zero mission and i think all of you that are critisyzing either andy or chris ( geordy) should read all the books from the bravo two zero mission, and to you dickwads arguing over names some names are real some are fake as for security precautions just as you wouldnt go into a chat room you dont know and give your name so people can hunt you, also some of those men could still be in the business. my heart goes out to those eight men as i am also in the armed forces in new zealand, i have met mike coburn and i think that when you are put in that position you dont ask questions about the mission because no soldier likes talking about what theve been through, and by the way, chris was the only man to escape yes but what did he have that noone else did?? the nva’s, with those babys in hand theres not alot of reason to get caught, no disrespect to chris. and if you think you guys are so tough try sas selection, eitha nz or uk, ill admit i failed recruitment but i will try again in the near future.

Unfortunately in this tabloid-journalism-led world people will generally believe anything they’re told whether it be true or otherwise rather than using deductive reasoning or “common sense”. Personally I’ve no cause to doubt either of them and no matter what anybody says they went through one tough experience, particularly Chris.

To be honest i think a lot of people here have to much too say about people they don’t even know, and where do u get the info from? like the guy who wrote about reading “the real bravo two zero”. You say u read Chris’s books and Andy’s, then you read this other book, now what makes “the real bravo two zero” true and “the one that got away” not true? as they say there is my story his story and then there is the truth, so guys please think before writing things about people, u were not there and so could not possibly know. People in this day and age are too easily convinced of the truth by listening to someone else, None of us can make accusations about either Chris or Andy for the simple reason that we were not there.

just, thinking, not read any of the Bravo 2 Zero books for awhile, but Andy McNab also mentions Chris as the surviving person (not to be captured) so Chris mentioning Andy, mean both respecting each other??

but as some one says, what happened between them to contradict each other on paper??

but it’s a really hard choose between them, love both fact and fiction from both

True fans of the SAS and by implication, Chris Ryan, should know Chris’s real name. I know his name, most SAS enthusiasts up here in the North East know it, but Chris Ryan suits him as an ex. Regiment man and a writer.
