Originally from Algeria. In my senior final year in 1984 (engineering), I traveled to england to improve my english. Had the same sensations you felt when you are in a foreign country. Life took me to the USA afterwards where I lived for 7 years and now I am in Canada. Wish I could relive all those wonderful 80's. But life has now become very hard for all of us. Everyone is scared of traveling. Anyway, nice stories. came across your site and liked your story. Originally from Algeria.
