Birthday Cakes Photo Casebook
August 3rd, 2007 @ 10:53 am | Filed under What Was I On?
I though it was time for another photo casebook, so here you go:
Don't worry if you can't make it to my desk to get a cake, next time you see me get me to buy you one. But you'd better like it! [Editor's note: my good lady actually had to buy hair rollers because she didn't have any and I wanted her to have that downtrodden wife look!]. Oh, and happy birthday Anne (whose birthday it actually is today)!

You have lost it. Take a holiday.
Poor “good lady”, what did you do to make her take part in this?

Ha ha, thanks! I pitched the idea to her as though I were casting her in a movie and she bought into it right away!

I think this was all an elaborate ruse. You’ve got a hair rollers fetish and needed some way to get Rachael to wear them in time for your birthday!
Didn’t you get hassled by the Sainsbury’s security guard, wanting to know why you were being photographed in the store?

Ha ha, maybe you’re right John!
And it was quite funny, I was getting her to take pictures but trying to look like she wasn’t taking pictures. Trouble was she kept messing up the shot and not leaving enough space in for thought bubbles! In the end she took loads of pictures to get the right one. It’s amazing how people just ignore odd behaviour like that and pretend it’s not happening, nobody gave us a second glance!

Very funny! The pictures are great…I especially like your wife’s “downtrodden” look — very authentic! I hope the bastards enjoyed the cakes…
I came to your blog via Anne’s a couple of months ago (from her links) and thought I ought to comment, finally. So, “Hiya! Been silently enjoying your stuff and my name is Vanessa.”

Hee hee, thanks! And yes, they did rather like them so it had a happy ending!
Welcome along Vanessa and hello to you too!

You know what? You have too much time on your hands. Try watching more television or something…
