Hey john, first of all i'll say that i love your program but lately its really been giving me the shits

1 - i'll get straight to the point, windows XP it worked fine. on windows 7 it will randomly decide to use up an unbelievable amount of memory i have 2gig of DDR3 ram and once it actually used up 1.8 gigs of that and it stays like that for 5 mins then changes the image
i have image change set to 30 secs. this will usually happen while i'm playing games but even when i'm not doing anything it will just take all my memory. i have has it set to 30secs image change for about 6 months or so now but only in the past 2 has it been doing this.

2 - it only started today, but the images wont change at all. even if i force them to change by double clicking on the icon or clicking next image it will wont change unless i go into task manager and end process of either svchost.exe or dwm.exe
both will automaticaly start back up over a set amount of time sometimes its 30 secs sometimes its 5 mins or more etc etc. and only when i end 1 of these will the images continue to change.

sorry if this is to long. i can live with the memory useage "bug" but having a background changer that doesnt like to change is getting annoying. thank you for your time

Ok, first of all svchost.exe and dwm.exe have nothing to do with JBS, the only executable you'll see to do with JBS is called BackgroundSwitcher.exe on the 'Processes' tab of 'Task Manager'. JBS won't take that amount of memory up and I've never had any reports of it doing that so can you take a look at the Processes tab and let me know exactly what it's saying for BackgroundSwitcher.exe. It sounds to me like something else is amiss with your Windows 7 system and JBS is just highlighting whatever the problem is.

Task manager is what I'm most interested in. You can find my email address here.
